This qualification reflects the role of individuals with cognitive and communication skills to impart dance skills and knowledge to others. At this level, individuals are expected to apply theory and creative skills across various teaching environments, demonstrating initiative and judgement in activity planning. You will have autonomy in performing complex technical operations and take responsibility for planning, coordinating, and evaluating the work of others. Job roles associated with this qualification may include dance fitness instructor, dance teacher, or dance studio manager. The program covers essential aspects of studio management, including marketing, business planning, and events management

COURSE DELIVERY

This course is delivered over 20 hours per week through a combination of face-to-face and online delivery over 54 weeks (including 8 week holidays). Students are required to attend 15 hours of classroom training per week and complete 5 hours per week of Work Placement in a local dance studio.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The training package stipulates that individuals must provide evidence of completing the following units of competency or equivalent skills and knowledge:
